Ebeling Logistik relies on “WinSped”

The Ebeling Logistik GmbH, based in the Hannover region, faces the challenge of managing a wide range of services and customer requirements as a medium-sized logistics company. With around 450 employees and a fleet of approximately 170 pulling units, the company offers a broad spectrum of logistics solutions, ranging from the distribution of food and retail goods to industrial transport and special shipments. This diversity brings a high level of operational complexity, which is to be managed through modern IT solutions, as LIS Logistische Informationssysteme GmbH (LIS) reports.

Hendrik Ebeling, Managing Director of Ebeling Logistik, emphasizes the necessity of continuously developing internal processes without limiting the diversity of the business model. “Digitalization is not an end in itself for us, but a means to sustainably manage this complexity,” explains Ebeling. To meet the varying demands in the areas of scheduling, billing, and communication, the company relies on the Transport Management System (TMS) „WinSped“ from LIS GmbH.

The TMS „WinSped“ enables Ebeling Logistik to map all core processes related to transport and billing. According to LIS, the requirements for the system are high: it must ensure seamless, customizable, and stable processes in daily operations. Ebeling highlights: “We do not need a system that simplifies our processes, but one that realistically represents them.”
