Mar 6, 2026 at 8:27 AMPanattoni France has announced the development of a new City Dock project in Paris Nord 2 in collaboration with AEW. The project covers an area of 10,700 m² and is located in a strategically important commercial zone, according to the company. The site, which previously housed the headquarters of the Welding Institute, will be transformed into a City Dock. Last month, the companies began the construction phase.
In two phases
The site currently consists of two industrial buildings that are to be modernized as part of a renovation program designed by Ateliers 4+. The work will be carried out in two phases and has been entrusted to the company KLEIDI. The first phase began in February 2026 with the comprehensive renovation of the first building, which covers an area of 3,700 m². This building was selected by Panattoni France due to its stable construction condition, which allows for a sustainable renovation. The original load-bearing structure will be preserved while the building will be modernized to meet the requirements for office space in the City Dock.
The completion of this first phase is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. Following this, the second building, whose structure does not allow for renovation according to the company, will be demolished. In its place, a new building with an area of 7,000 m² will be constructed. Both buildings are expected to meet high standards of energy efficiency, functionality, and sustainability.
