Mar 3, 2026 at 11:35 AMPSI Polska has successfully completed the implementation of the warehouse management system „PSIwms“ at the new logistics center of LPP Logistics near Bucharest, Romania. With an area of 65,000 m², this center is one of the most automated logistics locations for e-commerce in Southeast Europe.
Automation and Capacity
The infrastructure of the new logistics center includes approximately 1,100 robots, sorters, and conveyor belts, which together can process more than 80,000 orders per day. The warehouse is capable of storing up to 7.5 million clothing items and accessories, with the majority housed in an automated high-bay warehouse featuring 630,000 storage locations.
The warehouse management system „PSIwms“ plays a central role in controlling the operations and robotics in the new logistics facility. It has been integrated into a comprehensive automation environment that includes high-bay warehouse robots, autonomous sorting robots, and nearly 1 km of conveyor lines. Additionally, a shipping sorter has been installed, offering a capacity of up to 14,000 packages per hour.
The implementation of „PSIwms,“ including configuration and integration, was completed in less than 15 weeks. As a result, the logistics center was able to commence operations in October 2025, one month earlier than planned. From this location, online orders for Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and Hungary will be processed, leading to reduced delivery times and improved cost efficiency.
Strategic Importance for LPP
Sebastian Sołtys, CEO of LPP Logistics, emphasizes the significance of the new logistics center: “Due to the dynamic expansion of the LPP Group in Southern Europe, the opening of a logistics center in Romania has become one of the key elements in the development of our logistics infrastructure. The implementation of this investment sets new standards for warehouses specifically designed for e-commerce. Thanks to the rapid implementation of the WMS, we can leverage the potential of automation. This is the best way to enhance operational performance and the quality of customer service.”
LPP Logistics is responsible for the global supply and distribution network of the LPP Group and operates distribution and fulfillment centers with a total area of over 600,000 m².
