Ferry operators struggle with emissions costs
Jan 22, 2026 at 9:10 AMDaher has received an extended contract for industrial services at the second final assembly line (FAL) of the Airbus A321 in Toulouse, France. With this agreement, Daher’s scope of activities related to the construction of this single-aisle jetliner is nearly doubled, the company reports.
The services provided by Daher include the preparation of the fuselage, including cabin outfitting, electrical systems, cockpit, and carpet installation, as well as the preparation of the wings, which includes processing the assembly surfaces, hydraulic draining, and the removal of flaps. These measures are intended to ensure quality and a smooth process throughout, the company states.
Cédric Eloy, CEO of Daher Industrial Services, commented on the contract extension as follows: “This expansion reflects the strength of our partnership with Airbus. We successfully supported the launch of the first Airbus A321 FAL, and we’re now continuing the journey with the second final assembly line. By pooling expertise and strengthening synergies, we provide Airbus with a reliable and competitive operating model.”
