New Hybrid Cranes for AGCT
Jan 12, 2026 at 10:26 AMGuillaume Sauzedde has taken on the position of Regional Managing Director for the Europe region at the beginning of the new year. The Frenchman brings more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry and is already known to employees and customers in Maersk’s largest region. Sauzedde joined the company in 2024 and previously served as Head of Logistics & Services for the Europe region. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at CEVA Logistics, where he was Managing Director for the Central and Eastern Europe region as well as for the Middle East and Africa. He also worked at Kühne + Nagel as Country Managing Director for Poland and Senior Vice President for Contract Logistics in Central and Eastern Europe.
Expectations for the New Role
“I look forward to continuing to serve our customers together with the great Maersk teams I have gotten to know over the past 16 months,” says Sauzedde. He emphasizes that Maersk has built a comprehensive logistics network in Europe over the past few years, which includes control over critical assets and expertise across all areas of the supply chain. “It is exciting to have such a strong and differentiating offering for our customers in these disruptive times and to provide them with resilient, value-adding end-to-end solutions,” he adds.
Sauzedde succeeds Aymeric Chandavoine, who left Maersk at the end of the year to take on a new position outside the industry. The new Regional Managing Director lives in Warsaw and will work at Maersk’s main office in the Polish capital while regularly commuting to Copenhagen.
