Panattoni Plans Sustainable Logistics Area in Hagen-Lennetal
Dec 5, 2023 at 10:49 AMHellmann Worldwide Logistics is establishing a new national company in the Republic of Ireland and is opening its first Irish branch at Dublin Airport. From here, the globally operating full-service provider will offer its entire product portfolio: from air and sea freight to land transport and customs clearance.
(Osnabrück/Dublin) Entering the Irish market represents another important step in Hellmann’s growth strategy. After Hellmann has already established new national companies this year in Switzerland, Slovakia, and most recently in Italy, Ireland is now another important European market where the company is represented with its own entity. Due to the strong development of its economy, Ireland is playing an increasingly important role in the European internal market and globally. Under the leadership of Niamh Savage, synergies between Ireland and the UK, where Hellmann has been present for many years, are to be utilized and strategically expanded. The focus is on both the economically strong and often time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors as well as the electronics industry.
Important milestone in the growth strategy
“The opening of our new national company in Ireland is another important milestone in our growth strategy towards a comprehensive European network. On this basis, we can guarantee our customers a comprehensive service offering from a single source. We are also pleased that we were able to attract Ms. Niamh Savage, an industry expert, to Hellmann. Together with her team, she will expand our presence in Ireland. This way, we aim to better tap into new local markets and make Ireland a strong player in the global Hellmann network,” says Jens Tarnowski, Regional CEO West Europe, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
