(Holzwickede) As one of the leading companies in the logistics industry, Rhenus takes full responsibility for its actions and decisions. Sustainability holds a high priority in the company’s operations. Therefore, Rhenus aims to transform existing services into environmentally friendly options to create a better future for customers and partners.

Global efforts for green logistics
Current efforts for green logistics worldwide include an annual tree planting campaign in India that has been ongoing for seven years, climate-neutral warehouse locations with green infrastructure such as renewable energy and LED lighting, as well as electric mobility and recyclable packaging in Asia, Europe, and North America, the introduction of energy management systems in Germany and the Netherlands, and a corporate forest by the Rhenus Group to support agroforestry projects. Rhenus continues to explore green ideas and new technologies in collaboration with research institutions, partners, and customers to make the global supply chain more sustainable.
