Aug 10, 2021 at 4:31 PMThe joint venture of Hans Fischer Logistics and MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK has taken over the transportation of a total of 600 household appliances as part of the donation campaign by Bauknecht Hausgeräte for the victims of the flood disaster. The goods were delivered by the two logistics service providers to the DRK logistics centers in Kirchheim unter Teck and Euskirchen.
(Besigheim) When the request from Bauknecht came, it was natural for Hans Fischer Logistics and MÜLLER | DIE LILA LOGISTIK, as long-standing partners of Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH, part of the Whirlpool Corporation, to support this initiative with the necessary transports.
Unbureaucratically, everything necessary was organized at short notice so that the total of 600 household appliances could be transported by the two logistics specialists as a joint venture with a total of 8 trucks on August 5 to the respective DRK logistics centers in Kirchheim unter Teck and Euskirchen.
Helping in a Difficult Situation
“We are proud to support this great donation campaign in this way,” explains Thomas Fischer, Managing Director of Hans Fischer Transport GmbH. “The images have deeply affected us, and we are glad to contribute to improving the difficult situation on the ground,” adds Michael Müller, CEO of Müller – Die lila Logistik SE.
The household appliance manufacturer Bauknecht is donating urgently needed washing machines, dryers, and fridge/freezer combinations of the Bauknecht and Privileg brands to the victims of the devastating floods in western Germany. In coordination with the German Red Cross (DRK), these will be used in emergency shelters to alleviate the plight of the people housed there.
