Jul 6, 2026 at 10:41 AMOcean Network Express (ONE) has announced the launch of a new service aimed at strengthening trade connections between West Africa and global markets. The „Mediterranean Africa Express Service“ (MAX) is now available and offers direct connections from Algeciras via Tangier, Dakar, Tema, Lekki, and Abidjan back to Algeciras, according to the company.
Expansion of trade connections
With the new „MAX Service,“ ONE responds to the increasing demands in international trade and the complexity of modern supply chains. The service is designed to enable companies to access the needs of markets in East Asia, Northern Europe, the Indian subcontinent, North America, and Latin America. According to ONE, it launches at a time when the demand for flexible routing options and fixed transit times is particularly pronounced.
„We are committed to investment and growth in Africa. The MAX service is a vital addition to our network, strengthening the links between West Africa and key global trade routes while providing our customers with seamless access to ONE’s extensive international network,“ said Tomohiro Hosaka, Managing Director of ONE (Europe).
