Jun 19, 2026 at 9:52 AMAD Ports Group has announced the operational launch of Noatum Ports – Maqta Ayla Digital Solutions in Jordan. This joint venture with the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) aims, according to a company statement, to advance the digital transformation in the logistics and port sectors of Aqaba. The initiative is also intended to strengthen Aqaba as a regional trade and logistics hub while contributing to the economic development of Jordan.
The joint venture will operate under Noatum Ports, the international port operations arm of AD Ports Group. It was established to develop and operate a Port Community System (PCS). This system is designed to enhance digital integration in the port sector and facilitate information exchange among various users, the container terminal, relevant authorities, and other stakeholders. The goal is to increase operational and logistical efficiency in Aqaba.
Progress in truck management
Another component of the project is the truck management system, which will be implemented in the ports of Aqaba. This system utilizes digital solutions, according to AD Ports Group, to connect units through a unified digital window. This is expected to optimize processes, expedite approvals, and improve the logistics flow. The efficiency of services throughout the city is also set to be enhanced.
