In 2026, the manufacturer plans to deliver more than 500 units of the „Actros L ProCabin“ model to the company based in Vilnius. This step is part of TRANSTIRA’s strategy to expand capacities in European long-distance transport and modernize its fleet, as stated by Daimler Trucks.
Focus on driver comfort
According to Paulius Kraučiūnas, Sales Manager of the Truck Division at Veho, the Lithuanian subsidiary of the Finnish Veho Group, several factors played a crucial role in the selection of the vehicles: In particular, the predictable fuel consumption and total operating costs are of great importance to TRANSTIRA. Additionally, aspects such as driver comfort and working conditions are becoming increasingly important for the company.
Kraučiūnas describes the „Actros L ProCabin“ as a model that combines efficiency with modern ergonomics and a high level of comfort. These features contributed to TRANSTIRA’s decision to further expand its fleet with vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
