ERFA discusses rail freight transport in Brussels
May 8, 2026 at 9:19 AMAzul Cargo, the cargo division of the Brazilian airline Azul, has rebranded and is now operating under the name Azul Logística. This renaming reflects the evolution of the company, which originally operated in the air freight transport sector and has now transformed into an integrated, multimodal logistics ecosystem. The goal is to connect people, businesses, and opportunities in diverse ways.
The decision to rebrand is the result of the continuous efforts of the employees as well as feedback from customers. The company has recognized that it can grow beyond its previous services by integrating various solutions and enhancing the value of its offerings. Azul Logística now connects more than 5,100 cities in Brazil and 47 countries worldwide, providing a more comprehensive service that unites air, road, and sea transport under a unified service vision.
Growth and expansion
Azul Logística plans to triple its cargo fleet from the current two Airbus A321 P2F to six aircraft by the end of 2027. Two additional aircraft are expected in 2026, followed by two more in 2027. This expansion will enable the company to tap into new markets and routes, strengthening its presence both in Brazil and internationally. The company continues to pursue the goal of establishing relevant connections, with efficiency, care, and scalability at the forefront.
