
CargoBeamer enhances Belgium–Italy connection

The agreement was recently signed and approved by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) of Nigeria. CEVA Logistics will hold the majority stake in the new company, as stated by the company.
According to corporate information, the joint venture will operate the first warehouse in the Lagos Free Zone managed by logistics leaders. This zone houses the Lekki Deep Sea Port, which can provide a strategic location for access to West African markets. The new facility is expected to facilitate access to import opportunities, particularly for multinational manufacturers in the region.
Strategic advantages of the partnership
The collaboration between LFZ and CEVA Logistics combines CEVA’s expertise with the strategic infrastructure of the Lagos Free Zone. Adesuwa Ladoja, CEO of the Lagos Free Zone, emphasizes the importance of this partnership: “This partnership with CEVA Logistics underscores our commitment to creating a one-stop solution for manufacturing and trading companies in Nigeria.” By integrating the Lekki Port along with reliable industrial infrastructure and efficient logistics solutions, a comprehensive logistics hub for West Africa is set to emerge.
