Jan 19, 2026 at 12:01 PMAs of January 1, 2026, the sales region Central Europe at Schmitz Cargobull has been restructured. Vujo Crnomarkovic (photo) takes on the position of Sales Director for this region. In addition to his new role, he will also remain Country Manager for Serbia and Montenegro and will additionally take on responsibility for Greece. Crnomarkovic brings over 20 years of experience within the Schmitz Cargobull organization and possesses extensive market knowledge that is significant for the further development of the Central Europe sales region.
Roland W. Schacht, who previously served as Sales Director for Central Europe as well as Country Manager for Romania and Greece, has left the company at his own request as of December 31, 2025.
New Executives in the Region
As part of the restructuring, Constantin Victor Burcioi will become the new Country Manager for Romania. Burcioi has been with the company since 2005 and has led the sales activities for new and used vehicles in Romania and Moldova since 2014. His extensive market expertise is expected to help further strengthen customer proximity and activities in Romania.
Kerem Tas, who is already the Country Manager of Schmitz Cargobull Türkiye, will also be responsible for the plant in Adapazari within the international production network of Schmitz Cargobull. Since January, he has been reporting directly to the sales board member Ralph Kleideiter. Tas brings over 30 years of international industry experience and has further developed the production and sales site in Turkey over the past six years.
