The pharmaceutical wholesaler PHOENIX lékárenský velkoobchod, s.r.o. has introduced a new delivery solution: the decision was made in favor of the ZetesChronos delivery execution platform, which is intended to ensure improved visibility and productivity of the delivery personnel. One goal of this measure is the real-time management of transport conditions, particularly for temperature-sensitive products, in order to maintain the cold chain, as stated by the solution provider.
PHOENIX supplies pharmacies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies with medications and health products from a semi-automated warehouse. The new solution replaces the existing system and integrates technologies as well as Honeywell endpoints to modernize the processes in last-mile fulfillment. With „ZetesChronos,“ the company can also manage all orders on a single platform.
Optimization of logistics processes
According to Zetes, the implementation of the ZetesChronos solution aims to optimize various logistics processes: these include vehicle loading, last-mile logistics, and data collection, which includes electronic signatures, among other things. Delivery personnel are given the opportunity to communicate directly with all parties involved, while back-office staff can monitor the status of orders in real time.
