This is the company’s fourth location in the United Kingdom and is intended to further strengthen the group’s market presence. With a total area of over 62,500 m², the new facility will be dedicated to a global online retailer and is part of a network that now encompasses more than 220,000 m² in the UK, according to the company.
Strategic expansion
The new facility has been awarded the BREEAM „Very Good“ certification and is one of the largest facilities of ID Logistics UK. It is located in a key logistics region of the country, highlighting the strategic importance of the site. The facility has been designed by ID Logistics to tailor storage areas to the individual requirements of its customers.
Currently, staff recruitment, system rollout, and the installation of necessary equipment are underway. The site is scheduled to be operational by August 2026. During peak times, it is expected that up to 300 employees will be working at the new facility. With the opening of this site, ID Logistics UK aims to expand its nationwide coverage while supporting the ongoing growth in the e-commerce sector in the United Kingdom.
