AD Ports Group signs MoU for alternative fuels
Jun 30, 2026 at 10:16 AMIn mid-June 2026, the first four MAN TGE cash transport vehicles were handed over to the Polish Post at the Rozalin Castle near Warsaw. This step marks the beginning of an extensive project in which a total of over 230 vehicles are to be delivered. The vehicles are the result of a collaboration between MAN Truck & Bus Polska and the local manufacturer Inter Play.
The Polish Post’s decision to choose MAN TGE for cash and valuables transport is seen by MAN as a testament to the quality of their products and the partnership with Inter Play. Friedrich Baumann, a board member of MAN Truck & Bus, emphasizes the importance of the Polish market for the company and highlights that the vehicles meet the specific requirements of valuables transport. „Our vehicles provide exactly what is needed in this sector: a high level of safety, reliability, and functionality – combined with excellent driving comfort,“ says Baumann.
Modern safety standards for valuables transport
The delivered MAN TGE vehicles are equipped with advanced safety solutions. These include ballistic protection elements, bulletproof glazing, surveillance systems, and run-flat tires that allow continued driving after a tire damage. These features are designed to maximize the safety of the crew and the transported valuables.
Sławomir Żurawski, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Polish Post for Operations, commented on the significance of the new vehicles: „The acquisition of the first MAN TGE cash transport vehicles represents an important step in modernizing our fleet. We are specifically investing in solutions that enhance the safety, operational efficiency, and working comfort of our teams.“ The order for 230 vehicles is intended to enable the Polish Post to provide its services more efficiently nationwide.
Thus, the handover of the first vehicles is not only a significant moment for the Polish Post but also an important step for MAN Truck & Bus to further expand its position in the specialized commercial vehicle market.
