CEVA Logistics has announced that its subsidiary Colis Privé has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Paack Iberia and Paack France. These two companies operate in the field of e-logistics and could significantly enhance Colis Privé’s last-mile delivery capabilities in France, Spain, and Portugal, according to the company. The transaction aims to strengthen Colis Privé’s market position in France while enabling expansion into the Iberian Peninsula.
Strengthening E-Commerce logistics
The planned acquisition is in line with Colis Privé’s goals to optimize e-commerce logistics through a Europe-wide platform for the last mile. Given the ongoing growth in e-commerce, customer demands for delivery services are changing. The last mile has become a strategic priority for companies looking to provide a positive customer experience.
Colis Privé, which operates as a last-mile delivery provider within the CMA CGM group, views this acquisition as a further step in its international development. The integration of Paack Iberia and Paack France is based on proprietary technology and an integrated logistics infrastructure.
