Jun 29, 2026 at 8:38 AMA.P. Moller – Maersk has appointed Scott Elliott as Regional President for the Asia-Pacific region. Elliott, who has been serving in this position on an interim basis since January 2026, brings over three decades of experience in finance and corporate management within the logistics industry. Previously, he held the role of Regional CFO for the Asia-Pacific region, a position he took on after joining Maersk in 2020.
Before his time at Maersk, Elliott worked as President and Division CFO for Global Forwarding at Toll Global in Singapore. He also held senior finance and management positions at CEVA Logistics in the USA, China, the Netherlands, and Australia. These experiences provide him with a comprehensive perspective on the operational, commercial, and financial aspects in one of the world’s most dynamic trading regions.
The Asia-Pacific region is considered the largest regional economy and plays a central role in global trade as well as in Maersk’s growth ambitions. Elliott commented on his new role: „It is an honor to work with our exceptional team, our customers, and partners in the region. We have made strong progress together, and I look forward to deepening these relationships and supporting the growth of our customers.“
The process of appointing a permanent Regional Finance Leader for the Asia-Pacific region is already underway.
