Jun 29, 2026 at 8:51 AMThe Kraft Heinz Company has announced a comprehensive restructuring of its global operations organization, set to take effect on July 1, 2026. The aim of this measure is to accelerate growth, sharpen focus, and allocate resources more efficiently across its portfolio of well-known brands.
New regional structure
As part of the new structure, Kraft Heinz will be divided into three regions: North America, Europe, and Pacific Developed Markets and Emerging Markets. The Emerging Markets region will encompass the Asian emerging markets as well as the Western and Eastern emerging markets. Marcel Regis will serve as Regional President for the Emerging Markets. The European countries currently organized in the Western and Eastern emerging markets will be transferred to the category of Pacific Developed Markets, led by Willem Brandt. North America, which includes the USA and Canada, will remain under the leadership of Nico Amaya.
Focus on procurement and supply chain
A central component of the restructuring is the consolidation of the procurement and supply chain functions into a centralized role. This will be led by Janelle Aydin (photo), who will take on the role of Global Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer. This decision aims to optimize the management of the entire value chain and strengthen supply chain resilience. Through this centralized function, Kraft Heinz expects a more efficient use of resources and improved responsiveness to market changes.
Steve Cahillane, CEO of Kraft Heinz, commented on the changes: “We are building momentum in many areas of the company, and this new structure will help us significantly accelerate and scale our progress.” The integration of procurement and supply chain is intended not only to enhance efficiency but also to enable better integration of processes.
As part of this restructuring, Cory Onell, Chief Omnichannel Sales & Asia Emerging Markets Officer, and Flavio Torres, Global Chief Supply Chain Officer, will step down from their current positions. However, both will remain with the company as advisors during a transition period.
Cahillane further emphasized:
“As a company, we are proving that iconic brands can evolve, scale, and succeed. This new structure positions Kraft Heinz to unlock the full potential of our portfolio and drive sustainable, volume-oriented growth in our global business.”
