Various factors such as traffic volume and time of day will be considered in the collection of the fee.
The meeting was chaired by Kristian Schmidt, Director for Land Transport at the European Commission. The discussions highlighted the ongoing cooperation between Switzerland and the EU in the field of land transport and the efforts to enhance safety and efficiency in the transport sector.
