Jun 18, 2026 at 8:45 AMAPOC Aviation, a Dutch provider of solutions for the purchase, sale, and leasing of critical aviation components with global locations, has undertaken a comprehensive restructuring of its leadership team to enhance internal management capabilities in line with the company’s growth. This comes against the backdrop of increasing business volume and an accelerated growth strategy.
Gavin Simmonds, CEO of APOC, emphasizes the importance of these changes: “The organization has undergone a rapid change program over the past ten months. APOC is investing in its employees and infrastructure as well as in assets and inventory.” Simmonds expresses pride that the company’s ethos of promoting employees from within is reflected in the new leadership positions.
New leadership team and strategic realignment
With immediate effect, several changes in senior management are taking place. Simmonds remains at the helm of the company as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will continue to lead the strategic direction of the company. Robert Van Oeveren (top right) is promoted to Financial Director (FD) and will be responsible for ensuring that APOC’s infrastructure and resources are prepared for the planned growth. He will lead the company’s financing strategy and ensure it keeps pace with the growing complexity of the portfolio.
Craig Skilton (top left) takes on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will bear responsibility for the company’s commercial profit centers. He will lead both business development and marketing activities, working closely with the leadership team to establish the strategic direction of the commercial operations.
Karolis Jurkevičius (bottom right) is appointed as Senior Vice President (SVP) for Landing Gear & Major Assets in the leadership team. In this role, he will take responsibility for major assets and their transactions. Jurkevičius will continue to lead APOC’s growing Landing Gear division as well as the regional office in Vilnius, Lithuania.
In addition to these leadership changes, APOC has appointed Paul Shanley to establish the company’s first presence in Dublin, Ireland. Shanley brings extensive experience in the leasing and sale of aircraft and engines. His focus will be on the efficient use of capital for new assets and optimizing the corporate structure.
Tim Zurawski (bottom center) will take on an expanded role as VP for Strategy, Data & Technology, overseeing the IT infrastructure and the company’s digital transformation projects. Ian Foster, VP for MRO & Engineering, will become more actively involved in managing the warehousing, logistics, and engineering departments.

In close collaboration with the leadership team, Foster’s main goal will be to maintain strict protocols and promote APOC’s reputation for uncompromising quality and accuracy.
Simmonds concludes by stating that the changes described represent a significant step in the history of APOC. They are intended to strengthen authority and responsibility within the company and further develop strategic opportunities to remain competitive.
