The Descartes Systems Group will present its solutions for warehouse automation at the K5 Future Retail Conference, taking place on June 23 and 24, 2026, at ESTREL Berlin. At booth 73 in Hall 2, visitors can learn, according to a company statement, how open and robotics-capable Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) serve as strategic success factors in e-commerce fulfillment.
Integration of technologies in the warehouse
Descartes demonstrates how the „WMS Descartes pixi“ can be used in combination with assistance systems such as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Pick-by-Light technologies. These technologies are intended to enable an adaptation of warehouse processes without the need for a complete overhaul of existing structures. This is particularly relevant for companies looking to prepare for future growth.
According to Dirk Haschke, VP & General Manager E-Commerce Solutions at Descartes, companies in the e-commerce sector are increasingly seeking integrated platforms that allow for comprehensive process optimization: “Warehouse Management Systems are increasingly becoming the foundation for successful warehouse automation and robotics strategies,” he explains.
