JAL Group changes summer flight schedule 2026
Jun 16, 2026 at 6:34 PMBrian Ejsing has assumed the position of CEO of the Road Division at DSV A/S with immediate effect. This appointment coincides with his role as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), which he has held since February 2024. Ejsing succeeds Helmut Schweighofer, who is leaving the company.
Experience and continuity in leadership
Jens H. Lund, CEO of the DSV Group, spoke positively about Ejsing’s appointment and emphasized his extensive experience within the company. Ejsing brings over 22 years of experience in the Road Division and previously led the Contract Logistics Division. Lund stated:
“I am pleased that Brian Ejsing is willing to expand his portfolio as the new Road CEO. I am confident that he can accelerate the strategy, given his experience and proven successes in key positions within the company.”
Ejsing himself also commented on his new role and expressed his excitement about returning to his roots in the Road Division. He stated: “While the integration is on track and the strategy remains unchanged, we need to strengthen commercial execution, increase efficiency, and consolidate our network.”
Strategic direction until 2030
The strategic goals for the Road Division remain unchanged until 2030, as outlined at DSV’s recent Capital Markets Days. Ejsing takes on this responsibility at a time when market conditions are challenging. However, he sees the opportunity to build on the existing platform as a leading provider in the European road market and to promote growth in other regions.
DSV Road is well positioned with more than 50,000 trucks operating daily in 55 countries. The company offers a wide range of services, including groupage transport, intermodal solutions, LTL, and direct transport. Ejsing will lead the Road Division during this dynamic phase and set the course for future developments.
