Double delivery
The delivery ceremony, attended by the founder and chairman of Sallaum Lines as well as other company executives, is regarded by the company as the most significant milestone to date in the „Ocean Class Program.“ The delivery is intended to highlight Sallaum Lines‘ ongoing investments in modern ship fleets, flexibility in cargo transport, and reduction of emissions in the global network.
Both vessels were built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. and are registered under the Cypriot flag. They have a cargo capacity of 7,400 CEU and are equipped with 13 cargo decks. According to the manufacturer, the ships are designed to transport a variety of cargo types, including passenger cars, heavy commercial vehicles, high-clearance SUVs, and oversized project cargo. Additionally, the storage capacity for LNG fuel has been constructed according to Ocean Class standards, which is expected to enable extended operational range and improved environmental performance on long-distance voyages.
