The new connection allows Asmara to be linked to a comprehensive regional and international network via Nairobi. This will connect Eritrea to significant markets in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
Enhanced cargo connections
The cargo flights from Nairobi to Asmara also provide connections to additional destinations, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Sharjah, Djibouti, Mogadishu, Port Sudan, Entebbe, Kigali, Juba, and Dar es Salaam. These routes are intended to increase the efficiency of trade in the region and promote exchange between various markets.
