From May 18 to 20, 2026, the „European Freight Forwarders Congress“ will take place in Bucharest, organized under the auspices of FIATA. This event combines the 16th Congress of the South Eastern European Freight Forwarders Association (SEEFF) and the 2nd FIATA REU Field Meeting for the Europe region.
Exchange in logistics
The motto of the congress is „United for Regional Progress in Logistics.“ The Romanian Freight Forwarders Association (USER) is responsible for the organization and expects over 150 delegates from 22 countries. Participants will include representatives of national freight forwarding associations, customs brokers, transport companies, and logistics service providers. Representatives of international and national institutions have also confirmed their participation, according to a statement from FIATA. These include, among others, the European Commission (DG MOVE), FIATA, CLECAT, UIRR, IATA, ESPORG, TAPA EMEA, as well as ETRIA and Pro Danube International.
