May 8, 2026 at 7:21 AMAmerijet, Avianca Cargo, Cargojet, DHL, Latam Cargo – international air freight companies are expanding their activities in Venezuela after the market has been served only to a limited extent for years. Since spring 2026, several new cargo connections to Caracas are being established, facilitated by the gradual normalization of air traffic as well as increasing trade and e-commerce flows.
As the latest provider, 7 Air planned to launch charter flights to Caracas on May 8, 2026. This step marks a significant milestone for the US cargo airline and is seen as a signal for Venezuela’s cautious return to international logistics networks. The new connections from 7 Air underscore the growing interest in Venezuela as a gateway for north-south traffic within Latin America as well as for connections to the USA and the Caribbean.
The airline plans to continuously expand its services, which increases the potential for further revitalization of trade and logistics in the region.
