Apr 27, 2026 at 10:21 AMThe Noida International Airport (DXN), a new hub located just outside New Delhi (India) operated by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International, has announced a leadership change necessitated by a regulatory directive from the Indian Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). This regulation states that the CEO of an airport in India must be an Indian citizen. Consequently, Nitu Samra has been appointed as the interim CEO effective immediately, until a formal selection process is completed by the board, as reported by the online portal „News18.“
Nitu Samra will temporarily assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the airport, which is set to commence operations in the coming weeks. According to a statement from NIA, she will hold this position until the board concludes its search for a permanent successor. Samra has been serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the airport since October 2021 and has played a role in financial management, governance, and strategic planning for the airport.
