Apr 17, 2026 at 10:47 AMThe AD Ports Group has taken measures to maintain the operation of its services while meeting the needs of its global customers amid the war in West Asia, the company reports. It has activated precautionary business continuity protocols to minimize disruptions in supply chains. The measures include redirecting freight operations and feeder services to the Fujairah terminals and the port of Khor Fakkan. Additionally, land and air bridges have been established, complemented by storage and warehousing facilities.
So far, the AD Ports Group claims to have transported over 54,000 TEU at the Fujairah terminals and in the port of Khor Fakkan. Furthermore, over 22,000 TEU have been moved through the group’s land logistics services, while 18,000 TEU were transported within the maritime network. The latter was implemented with a fleet of 24 vessels operating eight feeder services. Additionally, the group has transported more than 8,000 tons of cargo through its air logistics services, facilitated by over 100 charter flights.
„Our long-term investments in a diversified and comprehensive network of logistics and trade infrastructure have enabled us to execute one of the largest logistical shifts in the UAE with speed, agility, and efficiency.– Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO and Group CEO of AD Ports Group.
