Apr 9, 2026 at 11:00 AMEDECS and MEDLOG held a signing ceremony in Cairo for a new dry port project in the 10th of Ramadan City. This project covers an area of 189,000 square meters and aims to transform Egypt’s logistics landscape, as EDECS reports. The initiative is intended to expand the country’s freight capacity and strengthen trade infrastructure.
The collaboration between EDECS, a regional engineering and contracting group, and MEDLOG, a global provider of logistics solutions and part of the MSC Group, aims to highlight both companies‘ commitment to advancing trade, transportation, and economic development in Egypt.
Extensive construction works planned
The dry port project will be implemented under a design-and-build contract that includes engineering, procurement, and construction services (EPC). Key works include earthworks, paving, road marking, and the installation of utility facilities. Additionally, critical port infrastructure will be expanded, the company reports.
