Apr 8, 2026 at 10:05 AMUPS has announced an expansion of its logistics hub at Incheon Airport (ICN). This measure aims to accelerate import deliveries for businesses in the Greater Seoul area and enhance supply chain efficiency, according to the company. The expansion includes an increase in hub space to nearly 6,400 square meters, which corresponds to a fourfold increase in the previous size. Additionally, an automated sorting system has been installed, which is expected to increase processing capacity for imports by 4.5 times.
Thanks to these improvements, UPS claims it can now process imports from the Asia-Pacific region within one business day and release them for delivery. Imports from Europe will now take two business days to reach their destinations.
„Trade from Asia Pacific and Europe to South Korea has never been stronger. The increased processing speed from our expanded Incheon hub means we can now deliver imports to the Seoul metropolitan area on the same day they land.“ – Bobby Seo, Managing Director of UPS Korea
