Apr 1, 2026 at 10:01 AMBluerock TMS has introduced a new last-mile distribution solution designed to provide control over the entire delivery process from the depot to the front door. The cloud-native platform aims to cover all processes from order capture to proof of delivery, as stated by Bluerock TMS.
After a testing phase with pilot customers, the platform is now being made accessible to a broader market. A central issue burdening the logistics industry, according to the company, is the lack of transparency during operational implementation. Many existing route planning tools only provide support up to the dispatch stage, leading to what is referred to as an „Execution Black Box.“
According to estimates referenced by the company in the announcement, costs of $10 to $15 per failed delivery arise from loading errors and missing service specifications. Additionally, inefficient handovers in logistics in the U.S. incur annual costs of up to $95 billion, which corresponds to 13% to 19% of total logistics costs. These inefficiencies also lead to an increase in customer support calls, which are attributed to delivery issues in 60% to 70% of cases. Companies also face penalties of up to $50,000.
