(SKL) opened a new location with an office and warehouse in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone at the beginning of the month (photo), is implementing organizational changes that will take effect on April 1, 2026. These measures aim to enhance management efficiency and strengthen the company’s sales capabilities.
Restructuring of regional headquarters
As part of the redesign of responsibilities at the regional headquarters, a new headquarters for the South Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions will be established. This decision is intended to strengthen the management and sales base in the high-growth South Asian market and create synergies between the regions. Additionally, the Russian subsidiary will be transferred to the Corporate Planning and Administration (CPA) department to further solidify the company’s governance structure.
Furthermore, the current headquarters for Europe, Middle East, and Africa will be renamed to Headquarters Europe. To optimize the organizational structure, the Regional Sales & Marketing Center under the Japan, Taiwan, and Korea (JTK) headquarters will be dissolved. The functions of this center will be transferred to the export and import sales departments.
Restructuring of corporate departments
In addition, a comprehensive review and improvement of the management structure within the main departments will be conducted. As part of these measures, a new Corporate Human Resources (CHR) department will be established to promote awareness of KWE’s global HR policies and improve information management in the HR area.
The Customs Compliance department will be separated from the CPA and reorganized as an independent unit to strengthen the legal framework in customs operations. Additionally, the Internal Controls department will be transferred from the General Affairs department to the CPA to enhance controls within the KWE group.
