She joined the vessel assurance specialist in February and works from its headquarters in Cardiff Bay (Wales). The company provides inspection data and intelligence for shipowners, charterers financiers and insurers.
Sperti has experience in commercial leadership roles in technology-focused service firms. Her background covers sales marketing and commercial operations with a focus on building teams and developing market strategies. She previously worked for a supply chain compliance company in South Wales, where she supported commercial development and data-led growth initiatives.
In her new position she will lead Idwal’s commercial organisation in the UK, Europe and Asia, including sales and marketing, customer relations and strategy. The appointment comes as the company continues to expand its inspection intelligence platform.
Idwal CEO Nick Owens said that “Rebecca brings significant experience in building and scaling commercial functions in growing technology-focused businesses with her, as well as a clear customer-focused approach.”
