Emirates SkyCargo expands cargo flights to India
Feb 26, 2026 at 10:44 AMGEODIS has announced a collaboration with the NAOS group to advance the decarbonization of their supply chain. This partnership aims to create a more responsible and efficient logistics solution, as GEODIS recently reported.
Multimodal logistics solution
Starting in January 2026, GEODIS will implement a multimodal logistics flow for NAOS that utilizes both rail and road transport. The logistics will begin in northern France in Neuville-en-Ferrain, where the goods will be picked up. Subsequently, transportation will occur by truck to a multimodal terminal in Dourges. From there, the goods will be transported by train to Avignon before being delivered by truck to the NAOS logistics warehouse in the southern Port Saint Louis.
This logistics solution encompasses nearly 300 full truckloads per year, which, according to GEODIS, were previously transported exclusively by road. The introduction of the multimodal connection aims to reduce CO2 emissions, contributing to an improved environmental footprint. At the same time, the quality of service, reliability, and safety of deliveries are to be maintained.
