Commercial vehicle orders in North America
Feb 4, 2026 at 10:20 AMExotec opened its new headquarters „Imaginarium“ in Wasquehal, Northern France, on February 3, 2026. This location will serve as a strategic center for the company’s future growth phase. Exotec, a provider of robotic solutions for warehouses, emphasizes its commitment to the development and industrialization of technologies in Europe with this move.
Strategic Investment in the Future
The opening of the Imaginarium coincides with the first edition of the Exosummit, an event that brings together customers, partners, and the extended ecosystem of Exotec. The new headquarters is the result of a long-term investment realized under a twelve-year lease agreement with the BMG Group. The site spans an area of 25,000 m² and accommodates more than 700 employees working in design, production, and support.
The Imaginarium is located at a former office site that has been repurposed for industrial and technological use. The design of the building aims to enhance operational efficiency by optimizing workflows and the proximity of various functions. A central element of the design is a space that connects all business areas.
Integration of Research and Production
A key component of the Imaginarium is the production area of 8,560 m², equipped with eleven operational Skypod systems from Exotec. These systems are intended for the manufacturing, testing, and continuous improvement of the company’s products. Romain Moulin, CEO and co-founder of Exotec, stated: „By integrating research and development, production, and operations within our headquarters, we strengthen our ability to develop robust and scalable solutions that are closely aligned with our customers‘ needs.“
The integrated model promotes the development of solutions that closely combine hardware and software, designed for complex, ever-changing logistical environments. Renaud Heitz, CTO and co-founder of Exotec, added: „This headquarters has been designed to support Exotec’s technological roadmap and industrial ambitions while remaining firmly rooted in our local environment.“
International Focus and Global Expansion
The Imaginarium is also designed to support Exotec’s ongoing international expansion. The site regularly hosts teams from over 60 nationalities, including employees from offices in Atlanta, Munich, London, and Tokyo. Exotec continues its global expansion and recently announced projects in South Korea with MUSINSA and in Central Europe with Renault.
With the new headquarters, Exotec positions itself as a central player in the field of robotic warehouse solutions and lays the foundation for future developments and international projects.
