NFI brings back Melissa Curry

NFI has reappointed Melissa Curry as Vice President of Global. In her new role, she will lead the Global Freight Forwarding department and work directly with current operators. Curry brings extensive experience in the logistics industry, having held various leadership positions. Her expertise includes building and scaling complex logistics and fulfillment operations, including leading projects from inception to full operational capability.

Brian Webb, President of NFI’s Port Services, spoke positively about Curry’s return: „Melissa is a highly respected operational leader whose expertise and deep understanding of global supply chains will benefit our Port Services department.“ Webb emphasized that her systematic and execution-oriented approach to implementing strategies will further enhance the experience of shippers.

Curry previously worked as Program Director at Stord and was VP of Fulfillment Operations at Nimble Robotics, where she led the strategy and implementation for several modern fulfillment centers. She began her career at NFI as Regional VP of Operations at NFI California Cartage. Additionally, she serves on the board of Girls on the Run Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & International Business from Villanova University, as well as an MBA from Pepperdine University. She completed her executive education in leadership skills at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
