FS Logistix takes over shunting services in Antwerp
Jan 19, 2026 at 9:40 AMMusculoskeletal disorders are responsible for about 20 percent of all work-related absenteeism, according to the Health Report 2025 by the health insurance company Barmer and the job portal Jobmatch, as well as the Absenteeism Report 2025 by AOK. These disorders thus represent the most common reason for absenteeism in the workplace, as reported by the workplace health promotion provider Kompass360Grad. Respiratory and psychosocial disorders closely follow, leading to an average of 25 days of downtime. In the logistics sector, the sickness rate is particularly pronounced due to high physical and mental stress, standing at 18 percent, as studies by Kompass360Grad show.
Integration of Health Management
To address these challenges, Kompass360Grad has developed a new concept specifically targeting industries with high stress levels, particularly logistics and manufacturing. The approach combines traditional health management, occupational safety, and ergonomics with lean principles and process optimization. This integrated system is referred to as „Health Lean Management“ and aims to promote employee health while simultaneously increasing the efficiency of work processes.
