Carrybots, the specialist in mobile robotics, is the new partner in the Körber Supply Chain ecosystem. The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen the position of both companies in intralogistics and to promote mobile robots as an integral part of comprehensive solutions. Körber has now included Carrybots’ modular and cost-efficient transport robots in its portfolio, with an initial joint project at a leading German automotive company already in the pipeline.

(Konstanz) By integrating autonomous transport systems into warehouse processes, challenges such as labor shortages, rapid growth, and ever-increasing customer expectations can be addressed. In this context, robot-based goods-to-person solutions play a key role as a replacement for often inflexible conveyor technology.

The modular and cost-efficient “Herbies” enable particularly effective transport of KLTs and pallets – and provide a smooth and intuitive entry into the world of mobile robots. However, careful planning is required to achieve the desired throughput and efficiency goals. Therefore, Körber and Carrybots are working together to realize fully integrated and customized solutions for specific requirements using mobile robots.
