Gebrüder Weiss Acquires Wolf and Air System in Straubing

The Austrian logistics provider Gebrüder Weiss is acquiring Wolf Internationale Spedition and Air System Luftfracht Spedition in Straubing. The two companies will be integrated into the Gebrüder Weiss location at Sachsenring on October 1, 2021. At this location, an additional 40 to 60 jobs are expected to be created across all areas of logistics.

(Lauterach/Straubing) The transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss is taking over the operational businesses of Wolf Internationale Spedition GmbH and Air System Luftfracht Spedition GmbH in the Lower Bavarian city of Straubing. The 20 new employees bring extensive expertise in international logistics, both in land transport and air and sea freight. The basis for the new location of Gebrüder Weiss is a recently acquired existing property at Sachsenring with an area of 45,000 square meters.

“With the transition to Gebrüder Weiss, we are offering our employees a secure future perspective with new development opportunities. We can now provide our customers with comprehensive solutions through the international network and customer portal of Gebrüder Weiss,” says Katja Wolf, the former managing owner of Wolf Internationale Spedition GmbH. In the medium term, 40 to 60 additional attractive jobs are to be created at the newest location of Gebrüder Weiss in all logistics areas.

Continuing to Invest in People and Assets
