Jun 18, 2026 at 12:39 PMChapman Freeborn has launched a new product for the aviation industry, specifically designed to address time-critical requirements in the supply chain. The company, which is part of the Avia Solutions Group, combines its expertise in air freight charter, time-critical logistics, and aviation logistics into a structured offering for freight forwarders and logistics providers.
The new product has been developed to meet the ongoing challenges in the aviation supply chains. Customers have access to various solutions, including full charters, part charters, Next Flight Out (NFO), and On-Board Courier (OBC). These services are supported by a specialized aviation logistics team.
Round-the-clock support for urgent requirements
A central element of the offering is a 24/7/365 AOG Desk (Aircraft on Ground), which provides rapid support for urgent requirements related to grounded aircraft as well as for other time-critical air freight deliveries. The services are designed to cover a wide range of needs, from smaller urgent components transported via OBC or NFO to larger or more complex shipments requiring specialized charter capacity, such as aircraft parts, engines, tools, and other oversized cargo.
James Gilliard, Vice President Cargo Sales Europe at Chapman Freeborn, stated:
“The launch of our specialized aviation product reflects Chapman Freeborn’s ongoing focus on tailored solutions for sectors where reliability, compliance, and speed are critical. By combining our charter expertise, time-critical capabilities, and aviation-specific processes, we create a structured offering that supports customers facing increasingly complex challenges in the supply chain.”
The product targets the community of freight forwarders and logistics providers, with Chapman Freeborn acting as an extension of its customers‘ own services. Additionally, an internal group system is utilized to identify available capacities on existing charter flights, enabling competitive pricing and routing options to destinations that may not be adequately served by regular freight services.
Strengthened by certification
Chapman Freeborn’s recent JOSCAR certification underlines the launch of the new product. The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register is a recognized accreditation system for suppliers operating in the aviation, defense, and security sectors. This certification enhances Chapman Freeborn’s compliance qualifications and its ability to support customers in complex, regulated, and security-sensitive environments.
As part of the Avia Solutions Group, Chapman Freeborn can also draw on extensive aviation expertise within the group, including ACMI, MRO, pilot training, ground handling, and other specialized aviation services.
