ADB approves 750 million euros for Turkey railway
Jun 10, 2026 at 11:45 AMDHL Supply Chain has announced the expansion of its logistics capacities for data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. This measure aims, according to a company statement, to meet the increasing demand in this sector. The expansion includes already operational warehouse spaces of over 30,000 m² as well as an additional 130,000 m² that are set to be operational in the next two years in Malaysia and Thailand.
Response to growing demand
The decision to expand is, according to DHL, a response to the rapid growth of data centers in the region. Forecasts suggest that the Asia-Pacific region will become one of the most important centers for data centers worldwide by 2030. The region is expected to attract investments of around 800 billion US dollars (approximately 730 billion euros) by 2030. DHL Supply Chain aims to position itself as a strategic partner for hyperscalers and data center operators, particularly in the context of increasing investments in artificial intelligence and large-scale implementations.
The expanded capacities include not only additional warehouse spaces but also the training of employees regarding customer-oriented services as well as investments in specialized technical services.
