May 20, 2026 at 2:38 PMRohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a subsidiary in Uzbekistan to recognize the growing importance of Central Asia as an emerging market. This expansion follows the previously established presence in Kazakhstan and represents another step in strengthening the company’s footprint in the region. The new branch offers comprehensive logistics services in the Uzbek market.
Comprehensive logistics solutions in Uzbekistan
The new SUUS branch in Tashkent offers a wide range of logistics services, including international road transport as well as national distribution (both LTL and FTL), sea freight, rail and air freight, intermodal solutions, warehousing, and customs clearance. In the Uzbek market, SUUS leverages internal expertise supported by Röhlig’s global network and trusted local partners.
Andrzej Kozłowski, a member of the board of Rohlig SUUS Logistics and responsible for international expansion in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, emphasizes: “In light of ongoing geopolitical changes, companies are focusing on building resilience and business efficiency, among other things, by diversifying their activities into new markets. At SUUS, we recognize the strong potential in Central Asia and see the role of a logistics provider as a partner to create future-proof operations and confidently enter new markets. That is why we are already one step ahead – after Kazakhstan, we are now focusing on Uzbekistan.”
Growth potential in the Uzbek market
Erik Aitzhanov, Managing Director of SUUS Logistics in Uzbekistan, highlights: “Uzbekistan is currently a rapidly growing economy in Central Asia and the most populous country in the region with about 38 million inhabitants. We are observing an increasing interest from global companies entering the Uzbek market, and all need a reliable partner with strong local expertise. At the same time, it is important to emphasize that local companies are developing dynamically and value international experience that supports their expansion. By combining these two perspectives with our comprehensive logistics offering, we are able to effectively support all companies operating in the Uzbek market.”
Rohlig SUUS Logistics, with roots in Poland and operating as an end-to-end logistics provider, continues to solidify its position as a significant player in the CEECA region (Central and Eastern Europe as well as Central Asia). The company is currently active in nine markets: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, employing over 2,600 staff in more than 40 branches.
