May 20, 2026 at 8:13 AMThe international logistics service provider Gebrüder Weiss has appointed a new management team for the Land & Logistics Germany division. Starting July 1, 2026, Goran Susak will take over this position. In his new role, he will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the German land transport and logistics business. A central goal is the stabilization and further development of the organization as well as the expansion of integrated logistics solutions.
Susak brings over 25 years of experience in the logistics industry. Most recently, he held a senior position at Kühne + Nagel, where he managed several regions with comprehensive profit responsibility. His area of responsibility included not only land transport and contract logistics but also sea and air freight. Previously, Susak held various leadership positions in sales and contract logistics and began his professional career at Dachser. He is a trained certified transportation specialist (DAV) and has completed a business degree with a focus on management.

I look forward to taking on the responsibility for the land transport and logistics business in Germany and advancing it together with the team in a challenging market environment,” Susak stated regarding his new role.
Jürgen Bauer, a member of the management board of Gebrüder Weiss, emphasized the importance of Susak’s experience: “With Goran Susak, we gain an experienced leader who knows the German market very well. He brings the necessary operational strength and strategic perspective to further develop our organization and provide additional impulses in the area of contract logistics.”
Germany remains a central market in Europe for the company based in Lauterach, Vorarlberg. In the neighboring country of Austria, GW plans to sustainably develop its structures and consistently expand its service offerings.
