Lagermax Group achieves stable revenue
Apr 27, 2026 at 8:43 AMMatternet, a developer of urban drone delivery systems, has launched drone deliveries for the British National Health Service (NHS) in London. This marks the company’s first deployment in the United Kingdom and is part of the establishment of a citywide network there for medical transport. In collaboration with Apian, which operates a platform connecting hospitals, laboratories, and chemists through a network of drones and robots, the system links two major hospitals via air transport.
The system transports samples, medication and other time-sensitive goods. The goal is to accelerate processes, reduce delays and stabilise supply. The drones enable delivery times of just a few minutes, instead of hours in dense city traffic.
Matternet is already active in several countries and has extensive experience in urban drone operations. The launch in London was coordinated with the national aviation authority. Further locations and applications are planned to expand the use of automated logistics in healthcare.
