Medlog JV opens cold storage in Shanghai
Mar 16, 2026 at 5:30 PMThe location of Coudray-Montceaux in Île-de-France has gained a new tenant. The company JS Logistics has leased 32,000 m² in one of the two buildings located there. With this decision, Argan, the owner of the site, achieves a full occupancy rate of 100% for its real estate portfolio. The location, which is in close proximity to the A6 motorway and about 30 km from the Paris Boulevard Périphérique, is considered strategically advantageous for logistics and transport-related activities.
JS Logistics, a subsidiary of the Chinese company Zongteng, provides warehousing and logistics solutions for players in e-commerce. The new branch in Coudray-Montceaux is the fourth in the Île-de-France region and the first in the southern part of the region. The company plans to store various goods, including furniture and DIY products. With this expansion, the total area utilized by JS Logistics in Île-de-France will increase to nearly 100,000 m². The lease agreement has a duration of nine years, with six years fixed.
Complete Occupancy of the Portfolio
Ronan Le Lan, the Chairman of the Board of Argan, commented on this development: “With this signing, our real estate portfolio, consisting of around 100 warehouses with a total area of 4 million m², is again 100% occupied. This achievement is the result of our conscious decision to manage leasing internally. The close collaboration with our property and asset managers on-site is a key success factor.”
The transaction was conducted with the support of CBRE, a consulting firm representing both parties.
Argan is a publicly traded real estate company specializing in the development and leasing of premium warehouses. The company follows a customer-oriented approach and offers pre-leased, energy-independent warehouses. As of December 31, 2025, the value of Argan’s portfolio was €4.1 billion, with an annual rental income of over €214 million.
