Andre Cachia appointed SVP at ACS Leasing

The aircraft leasing and ACMI division of Air Charter Service, ACS Leasing, has appointed Andre Cachia as Senior Vice President. Cachia brings over four decades of experience in various sectors of the aviation industry, including commercial roles at airlines, tourism in the UK and Europe, as well as ACMI consulting.

Scott Collier, CEO of ACS Leasing, expressed his pleasure at the strengthening of the team: “We are excited to welcome Andre to the team. He has gained extensive experience in the industry and will be a valuable asset to our company.” Cachia began his aviation career in 1984 at Thomson Holidays and held various positions in the following years, most recently leading the commercial department of a well-known Bulgarian airline for over seven years.

In 2025, ACS Leasing recorded significant growth, with a 62% increase in contract signings compared to the previous year. The beginning of 2026 has also been exceptionally successful for the company. Collier emphasized that Cachia’s experience will be crucial for the company’s continued growth, particularly in exploring new markets.

Cachia himself expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenge: “I am thrilled to become part of ACS Leasing after such a successful year for the team. I look forward to venturing into new markets and leveraging my experience to further enhance the current growth.”
