Jan 16, 2026 at 12:57 PMThe World Shipping Council (WSC) has announced that Höegh Autoliners has been accepted as a new member. This membership aims to further strengthen the representation of the global liner shipping industry, including vehicle transport.
Joe Kramek, President and CEO of the WSC, expressed his pleasure at the inclusion of Höegh Autoliners: “Car carriers are a central component of liner shipping that drives global trade. Höegh Autoliners brings valuable expertise and perspectives as we work with policymakers on issues such as safety, sustainability, and effective global regulations.”
Andreas Enger, CEO of Höegh Autoliners, emphasized the company’s long-term investments in a more environmentally friendly future. “Given changing trade patterns and increasingly complex operating conditions, liner shipping needs global policies that work,” Enger stated.
