More money for German transport infrastructure
Jul 7, 2026 at 11:50 AMRailcare has entered into a framework agreement with Martin Bencher (Scandinavia) AB, a part of the globally operating transport and logistics company Maersk. This agreement stipulates that Railcare will act as the preferred partner for specialized rail transports within Sweden. The collaboration focuses on transports that require particular expertise, planning, and resources, as stated by Railcare.
The agreement does not include fixed quantity guarantees but provides for orders to be carried out based on demand. The first transport is scheduled for July. According to the company, the operations particularly involve specialized freight transports that cannot be integrated into standardized transport solutions due to their size, weight, or design. This includes, for example, transformers, machine parts, or other heavy equipment.
Position in specialized rail transport
Railcare offers a range of services from planning and approval management to the execution of transports and coordination with other logistics partners. The company’s own vehicle fleet, as well as its technical expertise and experience in complex railway projects, form the basis for safe transports, even under challenging conditions.
